Absolutely delicious! The corn tortillas are warm and fresh. The tripe is perfectly crunchy if you like yours crispier. The lengua is perfection. Carne asada was mouth watering. Very attentive service. Did mention those tacos are $2?! (2.50 for lengua"

The four star rating is for the food. There is seating but I don't recommend eating here unless you are prepared to be patient. The service is slow, not very friendly and the location is tiny inside. That said, the food is authentic and everything you want in tacos. I had the Sopes and they were fantastic. What are sopes, they are like Arepas or a thicker tortilla with a layer of smashed bean, meat of choice , lettuce, tomato, queso fresco and crema. It's served with radishes and grilled onion bulbs. The freshly made sauces are kept at every table. Two are very spicy and one is on the drastically milder side but all are delicious. Make sure to ask for some to go if you are ordering out.

What is not to love about Tacos El Nevado? Located on Central Avenue among many other eateries this place is unpretentious, cheap, and delicious. Visited with a colleague from work and was happy when the cashier complimented my shoddy Spanish. Yummy tacos and a huge cup of horchata later - this is on my list of go-to places especially with their grilled onions and jalapeños!
Carne Asada - A
Pastor - B-
Barbacoa - A+
Chorizo - B+
I will definitely have to come back for a sorta sometime soon! -

I stopped in for my first time the other day and had an asada burrito. It was fantastic! Fresh, delicious and very filling. I just moved to the neighborhood and will become a regular!

This place is right across the street from us and we did not want to cook!
It's a little hole in the wall and the space is not that big, but it was welcoming and comfortable. The language barrier is a little difficult but not too hard. I ordered 3 tacos (chicken, al pastor, and barbacoa), she asked if I wanted onions and cilantro and I said yes. We ordered it to go, and she said it would take about 15 minutes.
When we got it home (she included a green sauce) we laid it all out. I squeezed the lime on top and added a little sauce. The flavors of these tacos are AMAZINGGG!! The green sauce had a little kick to it that I was not expecting, but still so good!!
This is my new taco spot! I cannot wait to try the other tacos!
